On the afternoon of May 9, the Shiyan Investment Promotion Briefing and the Press Conference for the 11th China (Shiyan) Commercial Vehicle and Parts Fair were solemnly held at the Wuhan International Expo Center. Representatives from the Shiyan Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Hubei Provincial Convention and Exhibition Economy Promotion Association, Shangge Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd., Times Automobile, and numerous other media outlets attended the event, which was chaired by a representative from the Shiyan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Comrade Qiao Hong, Deputy Researcher of the Shiyan Economic and Technological Development Zone, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Management Committee of the Shiyan Economic and Technological Development Zone, extended heartfelt gratitude to the leaders, guests, and entrepreneurs attending the conference. Wu Changjiang, Secretary-General of the Hubei Provincial Convention and Exhibition Economy Promotion Association, delivered an insightful speech on the current state and development opportunities of Shiyan’s convention and exhibition industry, as well as the prospects for synergistic collaboration between Wuhan’s and Shiyan’s convention and exhibition sectors.
Subsequently, Ji Wei, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Shiyan Economic and Technological Development Zone, delivered a keynote speech titled “Fifty Years of Focused Effort: Shared Prosperity Over Half a Century,” highlighting Shiyan’s investment advantages in the automotive industry, its supportive policy framework, and its robust industrial development. He extended a warm welcome to business leaders from across the globe to establish operations and set up headquarters in Shiyan, assuring them that the city will do everything possible to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.
The 11th China (Shiyan) Commercial Vehicle and Parts Trade Fair 2019 will be grandly held from September 20 to 22 at the Shiyan International Convention and Exhibition Center. This edition of the fair is co-hosted by the People’s Government of Shiyan City, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., the Organizing Committee of the China International Automotive Products Trade Fair, and China Automotive Industry Parts Sales Co., Ltd., and is organized by the Management Committee of the Shiyan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shiyan Lin’an Commerce and Logistics Development Co., Ltd., and the Shiyan Automobile and Auto Parts Chamber of Commerce, with Hubei LianGao Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. serving as the executing agency. It is a specialized trade show for the commercial vehicle industry.
The China (Shiyan) Commercial Vehicle and Parts Fair aims to promote Shiyan’s automotive and auto-parts industry, expand sales channels, attract high-quality out-of-town auto-parts suppliers to establish operations in Shiyan, stimulate the comprehensive development of the local industrial economy, strengthen cooperation and exchanges between vehicle manufacturers and parts suppliers and domestic and international enterprises, build the Shiyan automotive and auto-parts brand, and enhance Shiyan’s influence, outreach, and pivotal role in the industry.
