Chongqing Longrun Automotive Steering Systems Co., Ltd. traces its origins to Chongqing Longxiang Rubber & Plastics Co., Ltd., founded in 1997. Established in November 2001 with a registered capital of RMB 282.22 million, the company is located in the Chongqing Bishan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It is a privately owned high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of steering systems for passenger vehicles, serving major domestic automakers such as Changan, Geely, BYD, Great Wall, SAIC, Dongfeng, FAW, Huachen, BAIC, and Chery. After years of development, the company has become one of the leading suppliers of steering systems for China’s domestic-brand vehicles in terms of market share. In recent years, it has also been recognized as a National Specialized, Sophisticated, and Novel “Little Giant” enterprise, an Outstanding Private Enterprise of Chongqing Municipality, a Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprise in Chongqing, a Top 100 Private Enterprise for Technological Innovation in Chongqing, and one of the Top 20 Industrial Enterprises in Bishan.
Looking ahead, the company is committed to becoming a leading global supplier of intelligent chassis systems. Its steering products serve as essential actuating components in automotive chassis and play an irreplaceable role in enabling advanced driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control and automated parking. The company will continue to refine, expand, and strengthen its steering portfolio. Moreover, leveraging the core electronic-control technology that underpins its product offerings, the company plans to build on this technological foundation to develop a comprehensive suite of intelligent chassis solutions, including intelligent steering, intelligent braking, intelligent suspension, and intelligent drive systems. These solutions encompass in-wheel motors, electronic stability control (ESC), electronic parking brakes (EPB), one-box brake-by-wire, steer-by-wire (SBW), and wire-controlled suspension, among others. Supported by the company’s 600-plus-acre Intelligent Chassis Industrial Park currently under construction in Bishan, and in alignment with market demand, the company will progressively industrialize these technologies, ultimately achieving annual sales exceeding RMB 10 billion.
